Policy

What we collect, why, and your rights

Who we are

Claroview ApS is a private limited company registered in Denmark. We provide digital asset measurement, governance and consulting services.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can reach us at [email protected].

What we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. Here is what we may collect and why:

Website analytics

Our website is served through Cloudflare, which collects anonymous, aggregated analytics such as page views, country of origin and browser type. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

Live chat

We use Crisp to provide live chat support on our website. If you start a chat conversation, Crisp may collect your name and email address (if you choose to provide them) along with the chat transcript. You are never required to provide personal information to use the chat.

Contact form

If you contact us through our website contact form, we collect your name, email address and the content of your message so that we can respond to your enquiry. We use Cloudflare Turnstile as a privacy-focused, user-friendly CAPTCHA alternative.

Why we collect it

We process personal data under the following lawful bases as defined by the GDPR:

  • Legitimate interest: anonymous website analytics help us understand how our site is used and improve it.
  • Consent: when you voluntarily provide your information via live chat or our contact form, you consent to us using that data to respond to you.

Cookies

We only use essential cookies required for our website to function properly, plus cookies set by the Crisp chat widget if you accept it. We do not use any advertising or tracking cookies. You can review or reset your choice on the cookie consent page.

How we protect your data

  • All traffic to our website is encrypted via SSL/TLS.
  • We use trusted third-party processors (Cloudflare, Crisp) who maintain their own security standards.
  • We never sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: you can ask us to correct any inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: you can ask us to delete your personal data.
  • Restriction: you can ask us to restrict how we process your data.
  • Portability: you can request your data in a portable format.
  • Objection: you can object to our processing of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy. Chat transcripts and contact form submissions are retained for a reasonable period to allow us to follow up and provide support. You can request deletion of your data at any time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page.
